-> China, end of the 2nd century AD, Three Kingdoms era.

-> Military advisor to the warlord Cao Cao, who is currently in control of the emperor and the capital. Working along with his heterosexual life partner Guo Jia.

-> Used to serve a succession of somewhat less successful warlords, all of whom had the unfortunate tendency to not listen to him and thus get pwned repeatedly and painfully.

-> Has been assisting Cao Cao in secret for some time, but only recently came into his service proper, just in time to finally kill his old enemy, Lü Bu, the man responsible for the death of his first and best-loved master.

-> One of the Eight Geniuses trained by the old master Water Mirror in strategy, rulership and pretty much everything else under the sun. Probably the least of the lot and knows it: still ridiculously brilliant.

-> Proponent of the Darkness Principle: favors using whatever inhuman methods it takes to finish wars quickly and decisively, believing that people would only appreciate peace after the world reaches its lowest point.

-> Believes in Heaven's power and Heaven's favor, and holds some shamanic beliefs from his native Xiliang.

-> Blunt outspoken douchebag. Thinks Confucius was an old fart. Probably doesn't get listened to because his people skills kind of suck. Great at mind games, terrible at being a nice guy. Can be smooth, but rebellious to the core.

-> Has an unfortunate tendency to sacrifice his superiors in the execution of clever plans. It always works.

-> His hairstyle is historically accurate okay.

-> Canon is here and you want to read it even if you don't know that yet because it is just that awesome.

How's my driving?
All feedback, good and bad, is welcome and sought after. Please never hesitate to tell me about any problems in my playing or portrayal.

This version is strictly Ravages of Time compliant: no Koei or Romance of the Three Kingdoms input.

A note on Chineseness: Jia Xu is a Chinese semi-historical folk hero; I'm not Chinese. I really do not want to be stepping on the toes of anyone's heritage here. I'll do my darnest with my research, but if I commit any sort of horrid culturefail, please let me know that I may correct it.

Pemissions
Fourth wall breakage:
Yes to historicity, no to fictionality, please.

Back-tagging: Very welcome.

Romance/smut: Yes/yes. Note that this version works by period- and culture-appropriate ideas of relationships.

Fighting/injury: Freely. Mun has no triggers and appreciates a good piece of character abuse.
